Quinceanera Songs Music to Waltz or Dance
Before your Quinceañera becomes a disaster, you want to plan out the type of music that you want played before hand. If you are hiring a live band or DJ, you will want to pick out songs for Quinceanera. This will put you in control of the evening.
One of my friends wasn’t so lucky. Her Quinceanera started out wonderful until everyone hit the dance floor.
My friend’s parents had no idea how teens dance these days. You know that teens can get pretty dirty on the dance floor. Well, sadly, the songs weren’t planned out in advance which left people going up to the DJ requesting hip-hop music left and right.
The music wasn’t too bad until some of the girls asked the boys there to dance. They started “freak” dancing. In no time at all, all the other kids were dancing like that. It was a nightmare.
As the night continued the dancing got worse and more sensual. Most of my friend’s friends were wearing formal clothes and dancing like animals. They didn’t care that they were at my friend’s Quinceanera, nor did they care that there were small children around and adults. She told me that a lot of her guests were astonished and disappointed.
So you don’t end up like my friend, there are a few things that you should do to make sure the songs for Quinceanera are appropriate:
1. Choose a DJ or live band that you trust and can communicate with before your event. Let them know what kind of music you want at your party. Give him your quinceanera songs in an iPod.
2. Give them a list of songs that you feel are appropriate for the occasion.
3. Also give them a list of songs that you DO NOT want played at all.
4. Make sure that you let the DJ know that no songs can be requested without your permission.
These few ideas will help you have better control over the songs for Quinceanera played. Make sure that you plan ahead and keep good communication with the people playing music for you. You want this event to be memorable in a good way.
